Maitland City Centre is a regional shopping centre in the Lower Hunter of New South Wales.

It is located just off the New England Highway and is in the fastest growing Local Government Area of New South Wales. The centre is about 30 minutes drive from the centre of Newcastle and about 2 hours drive from the northern part of Sydney via the F3 Freeway. Maitland City Centre is also on the main north/south rail line.

The centre has over 500 businesses, which is very diverse, including an extensive range of boutique retailers, professional business (including medical, financial, accountants, solicitors) food and beverage as well as a number of the National Retailers including K Mart, Bi-Lo, Best & Less, Lowes, Millers, and many more. In particular there is a strong presence of fashion and home wares.

The Central Business District is also situated on the Hunter River which provides an outstanding backdrop to the CBD.

Maitland City Centre has a Heritage Pedestrian Mall, and in fact the CBD has one of the most significant and profound ranges of historic buildings dating back to the early 1800s.
